Written in 1941, Make way for Ducklings, written by Robert McCloskey, remains one of the most beloved children's books. In 1987 Sculptor Nancy Schon was commissioned to create the bronze sculptures of Mrs. Mallard and her eight ducklings, Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack, Pack, and Quack.  These beloved sculptures have a special connection with Boston and all the people who visit our wonderful city.  This lovely book celebrates the "seasons" of the ducks as they have lived through the years with us.
