Halcyon Days
From the heart of England to the homes of America, HALCYON DAYS has long celebrated the values of heritage, craftsmanship and unity. To mark 250 years since America gained her independence, the "Star Spangled Banner" and "Special Relationship" collections celebrate this important landmark.
HALCYON DAYS was founded in 1950 as an emporium of antique gifts in Mayfair, London. At a time when the art of enamelling on copper had nearly vanished, the process was primarily reserved for utility items like saucepans. HALCYON DAYS set out to revive this artisan craft, breathing new life into a centuries-old tradition. By 1970, the company had established its own production facility, laying the foundation for the expansion of its offerings.
Over the years, HALCYON DAYS has evolved into a renowned producer of English fine bone china, premium accessories, and its signature enamel boxes. Despite its growth and global reach, the company remains steadfast in its commitment to handcrafted quality, with all products still being made in its two workshops in the West Midlands — the heart of British pottery and enamelling industries.
